Epoxy Molds & Accessories: Precision Tools for Clean, Professional Resin Pours
Successful resin work depends on accurate mixing, clean containment, and the right release strategy. Eyeballing ratios and using improvised mixing containers introduces too many variables — soft spots, cloudy sections, and uncured patches are almost always the result of off-ratio mixing or incomplete blending. The accessories in this collection are purpose-built for epoxy work, not retrofitted from the kitchen drawer.
The MAS 32oz Mix Cup is marked with graduated volume measurements calibrated for the 2:1 ratio used in MAS epoxy systems — a simple but important detail that reduces measuring error. The MAS 4-Sided Trowel spreads and levels table top epoxy efficiently across flat surfaces, and its four different edge profiles handle spreading, scraping, and detail work in a single tool.
For casting projects like coasters, bookmarks, jewelry, and ornamental turnings, Lizard Blanks Resin Casting Molds are made from flexible silicone that releases clean, sharp castings without the need for mold release agents. The Allwy Paint Mixers attach to a standard drill and blend large volumes of pigmented resin quickly and thoroughly — hand-stirring large pours leads to unmixed streaks and color inconsistency.
Setting Up for a Successful Pour
- Level your work surface before pouring — even a slight tilt causes a self-leveling table top to cure with a wedge profile
- Pre-warm resin and hardener to 75°F to reduce viscosity and improve flow
- Use graduated mixing cups for accurate ratios, never estimate by eye
- Scrape the sides and bottom of the mix cup thoroughly during blending
Once your project is poured, head to our Epoxy & Resin collection for the resin systems, and add color with pigments from our Epoxy & Pigment collection. Finish the cured surface with Sanding & Abrasives before any topcoat.
