Mirka Dust Extractor DE-1230-PC HEPA 120v
The DE-1230-PC HEPA Portable Dust Extractor is much more than a common shop vacuum. It Is a purpose-built dust extractor designed to be used with tools that produce the finest and most dangerous dust particles. The automatic electric start function lets you simply plug your random orbit sander directly into the 110v outlet on the extractor's face and connect your dust collection hose to get fully automatic dust collection whenever you turn your power tool on and off. It's also whisper quiet, maxing out at around 60 decibels. Other machines average 80 to 90 decibels. The hose connection port is grounded, making it ideal for use with the Mirka Anti-Static Coaxial Vacuum Hose.
As if that weren't enough to get the savvy woodworker's attention, this machine features three stages of filtration. Sporting a primary 8-gallon (30 Liter) dust collection filter bag, a secondary 10 micron cartridge filter, and a final stage HEPA filter that is rated to remove 99.97% of airborne particles down to .3 micron, the 1230 will keep particulate dust out of the air and - more importantly, out of your lungs. When the filter eventually becomes dirty this unit has a simple to use reverse airflow feature that will blow loose contaminates out of the filter, effectively extending the life of the cartridge and sparing your wallet in the long run.
The Mirka 1230 Dust Extractor also features industry leading power and produces 250 mbar or 25000 pa of vacuum power, and 4500 L/min or 157 CFM of air flow making it the king of dust collection in its class.
