Multiple Radii + Multiple Bearings Give You Endless Profile Possibilities!

This unique Multi-Radius router bit gives you the ability to rout three popular radii without changing bits. By using your router table and fence you can choose which radius you use or you can cut with the entire profile to create custom moldings for table tops, cabinetry or any edge treatment.

Includes three 3/16" I.D. bearings for creating a variety of profiles: Outside diameter of the bearings is 3/8", 3/4" & 1-1/8". See photos and video for details.

The radii of each step on this bit are:

  • 3/8"
  • 3/16"
  • 1/8"
The 07-500 Multi-Radius Router Bit from Infinity Cutting Tools can create interesting edge profiles in addition to roundovers of three different radii.

One of the most common tasks for a router in my workshop is for rounding over the edges of a workpiece. I don't like razor-sharp edges on my projects, especially where they're likely to be touched, rubbed, and subject to wear. More importantly, adding a rounded edge can also play into the overall look and design of the piece, as well.

07-500 Multi-Radius Router Bit

Infinity Cutting Tools makes a multi-radius router bit that incorporates three different radii on the same bit: 1/8", 3/16", and 3/8"-radius. So it's a perfect bit for routing roundovers, but its profile lends itself to creating other unique profiles, as shown in the photo above. By raising the bit in your router table, you can create profiles with a double or triple radius. These profiles are reminiscent of the Art Deco style of the early 1900s.

The photos below show you just a few examples of the profiles that can be generated with this bit. The included 3-piece bearing kit makes this multi-radius router bit a true multipurpose bit. Be sure to check out the video below.

Triple-radius profile using the multi-radius router bit.
A triple-radius edge profile creates an attractive detail. This was created using the 3/8" O.D. bearing.

Double-radius profile using the multi-radius router bit.
A double-radius profile is routed using the 3/8" O.D. bearing with the bit height adjusted to cut a 1/8" and 3/16" radius profile in one pass.

1/8
Use the 3/8" O.D. bearing to rout an 1/8"-radius roundover.

Frequently Asked Questions

What radii can this bit rout?

The Multi-Radius bit routs three popular radii, 3/8", 3/16", and 1/8", without changing bits. Browse more edge-forming router bits.

What shank size does this bit have?

It has a 1/2" shank, which requires a router with a 1/2" collet, and a 1-3/4" cutter diameter.

What bearings are included?

The bit includes three 3/16" I.D. bearings with outside diameters of 3/8", 3/4", and 1-1/8" for creating a variety of profiles.

How do I select which radius to cut?

Using your router table and fence, you adjust which step of the bit contacts the workpiece to choose the radius, or you can cut with the entire profile at once.

What can I make with this bit?

You can create custom moldings for table tops, cabinetry, or any edge treatment. See more molding router bits.

What is the maximum stock thickness?

The bit is rated for stock up to 7/8" thick, matching its 7/8" cutter height.

Do I need a router table to use this bit?

The bit is designed to be used with a router table and fence, which lets you select the radius and run the full profile safely and accurately.

Can I create one custom molding from all three radii?

Yes. You can cut with the entire profile to combine the 3/8", 3/16", and 1/8" radii into a single custom molding shape.

What is the cutter diameter and height?

The cutter diameter is 1-3/4" and the cutter height is 7/8".
